The eighth separate online auction of works of art organized by the auction portal Artslimit culminated in the considerable interest of bidders during the bidding process on Sunday, September 22, in the early evening.

The results demonstrate not only the ever-increasing interest in online auctions, but also the increasing attention of collectors and admirers of fine art for quality works across periods and styles, often at lower starting prices than is usual for hall auctions.

Buyers' interest was also focused on the collectible gems of this auction, which included the Rolex Datejust Tridor watch or the limited edition Calatrava Officer from Patek Philippe, which was released on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the founding of this famous watchmaker.

As part of the charity auction, the prototype of the new generation of the popular PRIM TYCHO BRAHE KOSMOS watch, inspired by the famous astronomer, was auctioned. The Ústí observatory provided ELTON with data on the position of the stars in the year the company was founded in 1949, and together they created a unique watch with a map of the starry sky from 1949. The hammer price is intended for the renovation of the Ústí observatory to its original state from 1929 . The watch auctioneer will also have the unique opportunity to send this watch into the stratosphere with the space agency, making it a Czech historical unique and the first Czech watch in the stratosphere.
